Kansa Hair Comb

Kansa Hair Comb
A sacred scalp ritual for healthy hair and a calm mind
The Wisdom Behind the Comb
More than a hair tool, the Kansa Comb is a revitalising Ayurvedic ritual. Crafted from kansa, a sacred alloy of copper and tin long revered in Indian healing traditions. This comb activates vital marma points across the scalp, awakening prāṇic energy, soothing mental tension, and supporting the body’s natural detox pathways.
In Ayurveda, the scalp is not just where hair grows, it’s an energetic gateway to the entire nervous system. Regular combing helps boost circulation, reduce fatigue, and strengthen hair at its roots, encouraging fuller, glossier growth from within. It’s an elegant way to ground your energy, lift your mood, and nourish both scalp and soul.
Crafted by Hand, with Intention
Before it becomes part of your wellness ritual, your Kansa Comb begins its journey in the skilled hands of artisans whose families have shaped metal for generations.
Each tool is handcrafted by a close-knit team of traditional metalworkers originally from Rajasthan, now working across Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. These artisans once made temple bells, sacred vessels, and healing utensils for daily Indian rituals. Today, they pour the same care and heritage into every comb.
The alloy is melted and poured by hand. The dome is lathed using foot-powered tools. Teak handles are carved slowly, felt into shape, and polished using only coconut oil and cloth. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is machine-made. Each step carries the heartbeat of a living tradition.
"We don’t put our names on the tools, but our stories are in them. When you hold one, you hold something made with centuries of care." – Artisan from our workshop
You’re not just holding a wellness tool. You’re holding a legacy.
